SHE'S AN ANGEL

She was barely sixteen, a personality queen
With a future that was based on her dreams
A drive in her car, she didn't go very far
To the mall for a new pair of jeans

When she was gone too long, she talked to Dad on the phone
It was the last time, if only he'd known
She said, Dad, I'm alright, I'm headed home tonight
And now her name is written in stone

Angel, she's an angel
Sent to us with love, now she's watching from above
She's an angel
Angel, she's an angel
Her memories are so dear, my eyes swell with tears, when I hear her name
Angel, she's an angel
In her heavenly home, forever she is young
She's an angel

The small town was in shock and on every block
Friends and family were searching to unlock
The good thoughts they had, but everyone was so sad
How they wished they could turn back the clock

As time marches on, we all learn to be strong--
Because we all have a place we belong-
Although God's plan is really hard to understand
We can comfort ourselves with this song

Angel, she's an angel
Sent to us with love, now she's watching from above
She's an angel
Angel, she's an angel
Her memories are so dear, my eyes swell with tears, when I hear her name
Angel, she's an angel
In her heavenly home, forever she is young
She's an angel

In her heavenly home
Forever she is young
She's an angel
Angel, she's an angel
Angel, she's an angel

Blanche lost her high school friend, Kate Schisler, who died in a car accident. This story is dedicated to Kate and her family and friends.

Blanche has written a song in memory of Kate, and she is currently working on a CD that will be dedicated to her as well. In the meantime, Blanche has 2 other CDs available on CDBaby.com - “Music Highway” and a Christmas CD with warmest greetings to all!

Blanche's goals are to touch others with her music, both as an artist and a songwriter. She wants to write and sing songs that relate to everyone - songs about love, hurt, family, dreams... and just life!

Music is a gift, and Blanche wants to share her God given talent with YOU and with the world.

Music has been a part of Blanche's life for as long as she can remember. She began singing at the age of two and was involved in music from grade school to the present time. She likes to sing songs that tug at the heart strings. Her early musical influences were Elvis, Tina Turner, and Carole King. Later, she added George Strait, Alan Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, James Taylor, Martina McBride and Alison Kraus to her list.
